Description:

GlobalLogic is seeking a skilled and proactive Backend Lead with proven expertise in Java and Microservice Architecture for its Hyderabad office. The role emphasizes the design, development, and deployment of scalable, event-driven backend web applications using modern DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. The candidate should have a strong grasp of messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ), RESTful API development, SQL/NoSQL databases, and hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS). The position offers remote flexibility, collaboration with global teams, and leadership opportunities in high-impact projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable, event-driven backend applications using Java and microservices.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs, integrating front-end components with server logic.
• Architect and optimize event-driven services for performance and reliability.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Contribute to automated CI/CD pipeline setup and deployment using Jenkins/GitLab.
• Mentor engineers, promote best practices, and ensure security and application monitoring.
